The DeKalb County Public Library, in collaboration with the American Heart Association, invites you to a special event dedicated to building a world of healthier lives for all. The Heart Healthy Forum will feature an informative and engaging discussion designed to raise awareness about one of our nation’s most pressing health concerns—high blood pressure.

Community Whole Health Clinic is proud to host a BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification Class at the Stonecrest Library on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Under the guidance of Certified CPR Instructor, LaToni Dennis, participants will learn essential emergency response skills, including:

Adult, child, and infant CPR

Proper use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

How to respond to choking incidents

Team-based basic life support techniques
This hands-on training is perfect for healthcare providers, caregivers, and community members who want to be prepared to save a life. Successful completion of the course will include official BLS certification.
